Jenny Slate Reportedly Filed a Complaint During It Ends With Us Filming Regarding Justin Baldoni's Partner

According to recent reports, Jenny Slate was among the actors who filed a complaint during the filming of It Ends With Us.

Blake Lively is currently embroiled in a public legal dispute with the film's director and lead actor, Justin Baldoni. Lively’s lawsuit alleges sexual harassment by both Justin and his partner, Jamey Heath, who is also the producer of the film and the CEO of Wayfarer Studios.

In her legal complaint, Blake accuses Jamey of entering her trailer unannounced while she was topless and pressuring her to perform a nude scene during a birthing scene. Justin's attorney, Brian Freedman, has denied the harassment claims.

In response to the lawsuit, Jenny Slate expressed her support for Blake, saying in a statement, “As Blake Lively’s cast mate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation. Blake is a leader, loyal friend and a trusted source of emotional support for me and so many who know and love her. What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening. I commend my friend, I admire her bravery, and I stand by her side.”

Blake's lawsuit also mentions that two other actors on set raised concerns about Justin and his associates' behavior and are willing to testify. It is reported that Justin acknowledged at least one of these complaints in writing, though his legal team has dismissed the claims as “unsubstantial hearsay.”

The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that Jenny Slate made a complaint about an alleged interaction with Jamey. According to sources, Jenny, who was a mother to a toddler at the time, expressed dissatisfaction with the apartment rented for the shoot. She claimed that the $15,000 security deposit made it difficult to move. Jamey allegedly offered to reimburse her for the deposit, but reportedly used language focused heavily on motherhood, making Jenny feel uncomfortable. This led her to file a complaint with the film’s distributor, Sony Pictures.

A source claims that Jamey described the offer as a kind gesture, but it was later “weaponized” against the studio.
