The Organizing Committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games unveiled a vibrant and inclusive new motto, “IT's Your Vibe,” which puts people at the center of the Games.

Unveiled during the World Broadcasters Meeting in Milan, the motto embodies the spirit of unity and celebration, aiming to reflect the energy, passion, and connections shared by everyone involved in Milano Cortina 2026—athletes, fans, volunteers, and more.

More than Just a Motto

Chosen for its adaptability, the motto carries multiple meanings.

“IT” symbolizes Italy, the host country, where the “vibes” of Milano Cortina 2026 are already being felt.

The phrase “IT's Your Vibe” can be tailored to various aspects of the Games. It could celebrate athletes' abilities as “IT's Talent – IT's Your Vibe,” emphasize innovation as “IT's Creativity – IT's Your Vibe,” or capture the emotional connection between athletes and fans as “IT's Energy – IT's Your Vibe.” It can even be adapted to feature specific cities or sports, such as “IT's Milan – IT's Your Vibe,” “IT's Cortina – IT's Your Vibe,” or “IT's figure skating – IT's Your Vibe.”

For the first time in Olympic history, the motto serves not just as a phrase, but as a dynamic communication tool, one that adapts to individuals, sports, and venues, making everyone feel part of the world’s greatest sporting event.

The spirit of the motto was already present in the visual identity revealed by the Organizing Committee last year, which introduced the “Look of the Games” and sports pictograms. Drawing inspiration from Italian energy, enthusiasm, inclusiveness, and talent, these visuals are now shared with and by everyone connected to the Games.

The Vibe is Already Alive

The essence of “IT's Your Vibe” is already taking shape ahead of the Games, with various initiatives underway to ensure the Games have a positive impact on as many people as possible.

With less than a year to go until the Opening Ceremony, Winter Games Week’s second edition reached 240,000 schoolchildren across Italy, offering them classroom lessons and physical activities that promoted Olympic and Paralympic values.

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will take place from February 6 to 22, 2026, with the Paralympic Winter Games following from March 6 to 15.
