Brad Pitt and George Clooney Schmoozing Sandra Bullock With Hopes of Getting Her to Join ‘Ocean’s 14’

Brad Pitt and George Clooney are working hard to convince Sandra Bullock to join the cast of Ocean's Fourteen, with hopes that she'll reprise her role in the heist film series, sources tell In Touch.

The duo, who teased a “really good script” for a new installment in late 2024, is reportedly determined to persuade Sandra, 60, to "come out of retirement" for the project—offering her a lucrative $20 million payday in the process.

Sandra famously played Debbie Ocean, the sister of Danny Ocean (George’s character), in 2018's Ocean's Eight. Brad, 61, portrayed Rusty Ryan in Ocean’s Eleven (2001) alongside George, 63, and returned for Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007).

A source close to the franchise revealed, “Two years ago, Brad and George were ready to hand the Ocean's franchise off to Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and Jay Roach. But after Barbie came out, Ryan and Margot became major A-listers, pulling them in different directions.” This led George to take the lead and begin developing a new film with a fresh plot and a star-studded cast.

Brad and George reportedly aim to create the "Avengers of heist movies," bringing back iconic faces from the franchise, especially given the losses of Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner, and Bruce Willis’ retirement. Insiders note that they also want to bring back Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle, and Casey Affleck.

Sandra, who announced in 2022 that she was taking a break from acting, is a key target for the project, as Brad and George are eager to have her on board. However, they face competition from her other project, the Practical Magic sequel.

Insiders share that Sandra, who has worked with Brad on The Lost City and Bullet Train in recent years, trusts him and values their friendship. With Brad and George eager to prove their star power, they are reportedly willing to offer Sandra a generous deal to make the film happen in time for a Christmas release next year.

George revealed in September 2024 that several stars have already read the script and are on board with the new film, saying, “Everyone’s read it and ready to do it.”
