Biography:
Alexandra Anna Daddario, born on March 16, 1986, is an American actress. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series (2010–2013). Daddario’s film career includes notable roles in Hall Pass (2011), Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013), San Andreas (2015), Baywatch (2017), and We Summon the Darkness (2019).
In 2021, she received critical acclaim for her role in the first season of the HBO satirical series The White Lotus, earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. Daddario also starred in Mayfair Witches (2023) on AMC, portraying the lead role in this supernatural series based on Anne Rice's novel series Lives of the Mayfair Witches.
Early Life and Education:
Alexandra Daddario was born in New York City, the eldest of three children. Her mother, Christina, is a lawyer, while her father, Richard Daddario, is a prosecutor and former head of the New York City Police Department’s counterterrorism unit. Daddario has Italian, Irish, English, and Slovak heritage. Her younger brother, Matthew, and younger sister, Catharine, are also actors.
Raised on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Daddario attended Brearley School and Professional Children’s School before deciding to pursue acting at age 11. She briefly attended Marymount Manhattan College before dropping out to focus on her acting career. Daddario also studied the Meisner acting technique for several years.

Daddario's acting career began in television, where she appeared in All My Children (2002) as Laurie Lewis. Her breakthrough came in 2010 when she played Annabeth Chase in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Daddario has been in a relationship with producer Andrew Form since 2020. They became engaged in December 2021 and married in June 2022. In 2024, Daddario announced she was expecting her first child, following a previous miscarriage. She later shared the birth of her child in October 2024.
