Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma and model Winnie Harlow are officially engaged, sharing the exciting news on Instagram. The couple revealed the engagement on Tuesday, with Harlow proudly displaying her dazzling 8.5-carat ring as they shared a warm embrace.

Harlow, 30, first rose to fame as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model in 2014 and has since become a prominent figure in the fashion industry, walking renowned runways and appearing on magazine covers. In addition to her modeling career, she founded Cay Skin, a sunscreen brand tailored for diverse skin tones. Harlow, who has vitiligo, has been an outspoken advocate for embracing all forms of beauty and became the first model with the condition to walk in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

Kuzma, 29, was recently traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in a deal that sent Khris Middleton and AJ Johnson to the Washington Wizards. Before that, he spent four seasons with the Lakers and played for the Wizards from 2021 to 2025. The former University of Utah standout has built a successful NBA career and now takes a major step in his personal life.

According to Vogue, Kuzma began planning his proposal six months ago, but the idea first came to him during a 2022 vacation in Turks and Caicos. After a sunset swim, Harlow described the day as the best of her life, which inspired Kuzma to choose that same location for the proposal.

On February 13, 2025, under the guise of a Valentine’s Day getaway, Kuzma surprised Harlow with a private jet adorned with roses, balloons, chocolates, and Champagne. As they sat together, he read a heartfelt poem, ending with the words, “Will you be my wife?” Harlow eagerly said yes before Kuzma could reveal the stunning 8.5-carat oval-cut engagement ring he had spent three months designing.

The couple celebrated the special moment with a romantic beachside dinner and fireworks, marking the start of their new chapter. “We’re over the moon,” Harlow said.
