In Tehran, protests erupted with people waving Iranian flags and carrying copies of the Quran, chanting slogans against Sweden and other Western nations. Momika's Immigration and Legal Troubles

Momika, who fled to Sweden years earlier after facing legal charges in Iraq, had been involved in various legal issues, including accusations of deception. In response to his Quran-burning protests, Sweden revoked his residency permit in October 2023, citing false claims in his asylum application. While Iraq requested his extradition, Sweden issued a temporary stay on his deportation. Momika later tried to seek asylum in Norway but was deported back to Sweden, where he was granted a one-year permit.
