Monster Energy Pays Tribute to Luke 'The Dingo' Trembath
CORONA, Calif., Feb. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — It is with heavy hearts that the Monster Energy family mourns the passing of our dear friend and long-time member, Luke 'The Dingo' Trembath.
A beloved icon in action sports and a key figure within the Monster Family, Dingo was a force of energy, humor, and kindness who made everyone he met feel valued. His impact on Monster Energy was immeasurable; he wasn’t just part of the brand—he was its embodiment. From his early days with us, Dingo became one of the most recognizable faces of Monster Energy, frequently present at major events such as X Games, Street League, Supercross, and NASCAR. Whether on the mic, in front of the camera, or simply in a crowd, Dingo had the ability to make everything and everyone around him shine.
Before becoming a global personality, Dingo was a professional snowboarder whose passion for the sport was contagious. He first gained recognition alongside fellow pro snowboarder Danny Kass in the iconic Fuel TV series The Adventures of Danny and The Dingo. Their wild adventures introduced action sports to an entirely new audience. His magnetic personality and deep connection to the culture made him the perfect host for Monster’s podcast, Unleashed with The Dingo, Danny, and Brittney, filmed inside Monster Energy’s StudioM. Over more than 100 episodes, he brought his signature enthusiasm and unique perspective to conversations with some of the world’s greatest athletes, musicians, artists, and influencers.
"Dingo was an irreplaceable part of the Monster family," said Monster Energy Chairman and Co-CEO Rodney Sacks. "His passion, charisma, and ability to connect with people set him apart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He wasn't just a representative of our brand—he was a driving force behind its culture, embodying the energy and authenticity that define Monster Energy. Our deepest condolences go out to his mother, Leanne, and to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will live on."
Vice Chairman and Co-CEO Hilton Schlosberg added, "Dingo wasn't just part of Monster Energy—he helped define who we are. His impact on action sports, our brand, and the many lives he touched is immeasurable. We are devastated by his loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who loved him."
Beyond Monster, Dingo was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend to countless people around the world. While we find some solace knowing he has been reunited with his beloved brother, Reece, his absence creates an irreplaceable void.
Dingo, you will never be forgotten. We love you.
