"Jersey Shore" Star Sammi Giancola Expecting First Child

Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, star of Jersey Shore, is expecting her first child.

"We've been keeping a little secret," Giancola, 37, shared in an Instagram post on Sunday, February 23. "After facing years of infertility struggles, this is the greatest blessing we could have ever asked for! We are so excited to finally share the news of our little miracle with all of you! Our hearts are so full of love, and we can’t wait to meet you, baby," she continued, revealing that her due date is in August.

Along with the announcement, Giancola posted pictures of herself and fiancé Justin May holding their baby’s ultrasound photos.

The couple received an outpouring of love and support from fans and friends alike. Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania wrote, "Omggggg, congratulations!!! So happy for you both!!!!!" Danielle Cabral, her co-star, added, "My heart is so happy for you both!!! Congratulations," and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wife, Lauren Sorrentino, shared her excitement as well.

Giancola announced her engagement to May on April 1, 2024, with a post reading, "Life update: Fiancé 3.16.24. The easiest question I've ever answered... happiest & luckiest girl in the world. I’ll love you forever and then some. #Futurewifey #Engaged." She clarified that it was "not an April Fools joke."

The two went public with their relationship on Thanksgiving 2021, when Giancola shared a photo of herself with May on X (formerly Twitter). This came shortly after ending her two-year engagement to Christian Biscardi.

Giancola had previously been in a long-term relationship with Jersey Shore co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, but the two officially parted ways in 2016.
