The remark, which came after an interview with GBSNews' Steven Edginton, involved Crenshaw saying he would "kill" Carlson if they ever met. The off-the-record moment was shared by Edginton on social media on Monday, though neither Crenshaw nor Carlson has publicly commented on the clip.

In the video, Edginton asks Crenshaw about the $100 billion allocated to Ukraine, referencing Carlson's stance on the issue. Crenshaw responds, dismissing Carlson's perspective, saying, "Tucker doesn't know what he's talking about. Tucker likes to visit Moscow and talk about how great the grocery stores are, so I don't really take his advice very seriously."

When Edginton inquires whether Crenshaw has ever met Carlson, the Texas congressman is overheard saying, "I would kill him if I saw him." Edginton later tweeted that Crenshaw clarified the statement wasn’t meant as a joke.

In response to the video, Carlson tweeted, "Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address, @DanCrenshawTX."
