Attention Star Wars fans! The highly anticipated teaser for the second season of Andor, arguably the best Star Wars TV series, has officially dropped. This action-packed preview of the upcoming season has us more excited than ever!

Who’s in the Cast for Andor Season 2?
Diego Luna is back as Cassian Andor, more determined than ever to take on the Empire. He’s joined by Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael and Genevieve O'Reilly as the composed Mon Mothma.
Forest Whitaker reprises his role as the slightly unhinged Saw Gerrera, and we’re welcoming some familiar faces from Rogue One. Ben Mendelsohn returns as the Empire’s iconic villain, Orson Krennic, and Alan Tudyk’s sarcastic droid K-2SO is finally making an appearance!
Tony Gilroy, the show’s creator, shared, “One of the great thrills of making Andor is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries.” And this cast definitely delivers on that promise.
What’s the Plot of Andor Season 2?
In case you didn’t know, Andor is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, set five years before the movie. Season 2 picks up a few years after Season 1, with the rebellion against the Empire now in full swing. We’re not talking about a small group of rebels – this is a galaxy-wide revolution.
Cassian will play a pivotal role in the Rebel Alliance as they continue their fight.
Gilroy teased, “Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in season two.”
And for those worried about a slow pace, Disney+ promises, “As the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices, and conflicting agendas will become profound.”
Is There a Andor Season 2 Trailer?
Absolutely! The teaser trailer has us on the edge of our seats. There are explosions, intense TIE fighter chases, a Mon Mothma dance moment, and even a glimpse of the Death Star.
When Does Andor Season 2 Release?
Mark April 23 on your calendars! Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ with the first three episodes available on day one, followed by three more episodes each week for the next three weeks. The season consists of 12 episodes in total.
