Navjot Singh Sidhu and Gautam Gambhir's interaction after the ICC Champions Trophy final has taken the internet by storm.

Gautam Gambhir secured his first title as head coach of the Indian team after they triumphed over New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy final. Despite facing criticism during his tenure, particularly for results in red-ball cricket, Gambhir silenced his critics with this victory, marking India’s second Champions Trophy title in history. Amid celebrations at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, a priceless moment unfolded between Gambhir and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Sidhu, renowned for his poetic commentary, witnessed Gambhir step into the role of a poet himself. The moment was nothing short of magical.

"Fann kuchalne ka hunar seekhiye janab..." said Gambhir, with Sidhu finishing, "saapon ke darr se jungle nahi chhore jaate."

"The Shayari that he asked me to narrate has a lot to say... he @GautamGambhir is here to stay... wish him and the Indian cricket team the very best... You made India proud, brother," Sidhu posted.

Sidhu later challenged Gambhir to perform a Bhangra, but the Indian head coach hesitated. Although Gambhir struck a Bhangra pose later on, he didn't dance despite Sidhu's repeated urging.

After the match, India captain Rohit Sharma also praised Gambhir, thanking him for supporting the aggressive playing style he wanted to adopt and the mindset he instilled in the team.

Rohit shared, "It (the attacking style) is not natural to me, but it's something I really wanted to do. When you're trying something new, you need the backing of your team and management, and they were with me all the way. Even in the ODI World Cup, Rahul bhai supported me, and now Gauti bhai as well. It's all about having the backing of the team and management. I've played a certain way for years, but I wanted to try something different and see if we could get the results we were aiming for."
