Timothée Chalamet's Fans Blame Kylie Jenner for His Oscars Loss

After Timothée Chalamet lost the Best Actor award at the 2025 Oscars to Adrien Brody, many of his fans unfairly pointed the finger at his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, blaming her for his defeat.

Chalamet was nominated for his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, but the Oscar ultimately went to Brody, who starred in The Brutalist. Some fans took to social media to claim that Kylie was the reason for his loss, arguing that he only won at the Screen Actors Guild Awards when Kylie wasn't by his side.

Timothée attended the Oscars with Kylie, and many fans claimed her presence was bad luck, with one person joking, “Timothée losing the award every time he brings Kylie lol almost as if it's a sign.” Another added, “Timothée got snubbed. I guess Kylie gave him bad luck. Lol, Kardashian curse continues... #Oscars2025."

Many fans were initially unsure if Kylie would attend, especially following the passing of her hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, just days before the event.
