Pamela Bach, known for her roles in Baywatch and Knight Rider, has passed away at the age of 62.
Bach was found at her home in the Hollywood Hills on March 5, following her death by suicide, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office.
She met David Hasselhoff while working alongside him on the TV series Knight Rider, and the two married in 1989. Bach later starred alongside him in Baywatch before their divorce in 2006.
Hasselhoff shared his sorrow in a statement, saying, "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time, but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging period."
Bach, a Tulsa, Oklahoma native, began her acting career in the 1970s. She and Hasselhoff had two daughters together. Her acting credits include roles in The Young and the Restless, Cheers, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, Superboy, and Viper.
Her daughter, Hayley Amber Hasselhoff, shared a tribute on Instagram, posting a photo of her parents with a white star.
In Bach's final Instagram post on New Year's Eve, she expressed excitement for the year ahead, particularly looking forward to watching her granddaughter, London, grow. She wrote, “May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold."
Sharon Kelly, Bach's representative, told TMZ that she was shocked by the news. "My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters, and granddaughter, who Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly."
