Burrows earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and political science, later pursuing a master's in business administration (MBA) at Alabama’s Manderson School of Business, according to Parade.

Burrows has built a successful career in tech. After graduation, she joined IBM as a senior client experience consultant in Dallas. She has since climbed the corporate ladder, taking on roles such as a sales executive and software financing leader. When not focused on her career, Burrows enjoys spending time outdoors. In a 2021 LinkedIn post, she mentioned that staying active helps her cope with "always-on" culture and recharges her energy. She’s also passionate about giving back, particularly by supporting young people pursuing careers in tech. Burrows has participated in educational events and coached in IBM’s eight-week Accelerate program, which prepares minority undergraduates for the business world. Hurts is also involved in charity work throughout his football career.

How Did They Meet?
Hurts and Burrows were first linked romantically in January 2023 when she joined him on the field to celebrate the Eagles’ NFC Championship. However, their connection goes back further—they had been dating off and on since their time together at the University of Alabama, though they kept their relationship private until 2023.

Just two months after their public debut, Hurts shared with Essence that he knew "a long time ago" that Burrows was the one. "To this point in my life, that's an irreplaceable feeling. I think that's what allowed us to get to where we are now," he said.

Since then, Burrows has been a constant presence at Hurts' games, including attending the Eagles' opening game against the Green Bay Packers in September 2024.
