Beats has introduced the Powerbeats Pro 2 in India, priced at ₹29,900. These upgraded wireless earbuds are designed with athletes and fitness enthusiasts in mind, offering features such as personalized spatial audio, Active Noise Cancellation, and heart rate monitoring.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 is now available for purchase in India through apple.com/in, with four color options: Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange. The product will be available in stores starting February 13.

Specifications and Features
The new version comes with an enhanced acoustic design, featuring personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. It also includes Adaptive EQ that adjusts the sound in real-time based on how the earbuds fit in the user’s ear.

Additionally, the earbuds provide Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode, giving users the option to block out external sounds or stay aware of their surroundings.

Weighing 20% less than its predecessor, the Powerbeats Pro 2 has been tested by nearly 1,000 athletes. The ear hooks are reinforced with a nickel-titanium alloy to enhance flexibility and grip. A new fifth ear tip size has been introduced, offering extra-small, small, medium, large, and extra-large options for better comfort.

One standout feature is the addition of heart rate monitoring, which uses LED optical sensors to measure blood flow over 100 times per second. This data can be shared with various fitness apps, including Runna, Nike Run Club, and Open, enabling users to track their heart rate in real-time during workouts.

Additional Features
The Powerbeats Pro 2 comes with Class 1 Bluetooth for long-range connectivity, offering one-touch pairing and automatic switching for Apple devices. It also supports hands-free Siri activation, Audio Sharing, and Find My. Android users can enjoy similar features through the Beats App, which provides battery status, custom controls, and firmware updates.

For communication, each earbud has a voice accelerometer and three microphones, enhancing call clarity through computational audio and noise suppression. Users can control music playback hands-free via a tactile volume rocker and on-ear buttons.

Powered by the Apple-designed H2 chip, the Powerbeats Pro 2 offers up to 45 hours of total battery life. Each earbud provides up to 10 hours per charge, and a quick five-minute charge delivers approximately 90 minutes of playback. The charging case is now 33% smaller and supports wireless charging.
